JB x sleepover x graduation

This post will be on the activities with the usuals! We've been meeting up quite often lately and i'm loving it! Haha i mean, our outings are usually filled with joy and laughter.

So 2 weeks back(?) we went on a short trip to JB! It was supposed to be only Bryan and i but i thought it would be more fun to call everyone. Moreover, Jet just came back from his 2 months Europe trip so it's time for the big reunion haha. 

These are the only 2 photos we took. We kinda got scammed when we took taxi ride because we had 5 people so we had to pay extra for the 5th person on top of our taxi fare which went by their meter. We paid an average of 10RM (we took taxi about 3 times) for the 5th person. The venues we went to are relatively close to each other, like less than 5 minutes? But our first 2 rides came up to about 20-25RM. 

We had dinner at some seafood place that Bryan recommended cos he researched online and well, the food was....quite meh. Haha it was cheap lah but it was seriously not up to basic standard. & then it was time to head back to Singapore so we took a taxi back to City Square which is right beside the custom and guess what....our cab fare was only 7RM?!?!?!?! I don't really understand cos y'know in Singapore our taxi meter starts from $2.80/$3 (or around this range) by different cab companies but in JB some started at 6RM and the one we took back to City Square started from 2/3RM. 

Oh and did i mention that Melissa sort of witnessed a pickpocket scene right in front of us? Crazy place to be in. 

Last Thursday we had a sleepover at Bryan's place since Friday was Vesak's Day! I met Bryan first to go back to TP to collect my cert and also to have some school food! I kinda miss school :(

We went to Engine Block to get my spicy nuggets then i wanted to go Design school to eat my breaded fish with mango tartar but it was sold out so we decided to go Mensa 2 to have dinner instead. I wanna have dory fish but it was sold out too so i had white fish instead. This plate of goodness only cost me $3.50. 

When the night came, it was pizza party time. We ordered 6 pizzas for 5 people...... Insane shit. 

We ordered from Napolizz Pizza and it was good yet affordable! Bryan's recommendation again cos he knows it best when it comes to food. Haha. Because we ordered too much (duh!) we had it for late dinner, supper and lunch the next day! 

We played the board game RISK and it was Mel, jg and i VS Jet and Bryan. Guess who won? MY TEAM OF COURSE. HEHE. We totally trashed them. 

Next was Melissa's and jg's graduation ceremony yesterday. I was just telling her what an irony it was that i'm going to attend her grad ceremony while i didn't even want to go for my own -_- We woke up at 11am wanting to go for their ceremony BUT we were late (what's new) so we couldn't go in -_- HAHA damn fail but we went to eat and waited outside for them to be done. 

 Up to no good.

Secondary school friends! 

Had dinner at ippudo and desserts at Pique.nique while reminiscing all the wonderful memories we shared. Hahaha i swear at one point i almost had a stomachache from laughing too much. 

Our next "outing": Sleepover @ JG's house! Whoop~ 

Came home early that day because we were all tired so this is me, doing what girls do best haha.

Exactly where i'm heading to in about 2 hours time. It has been a long time since i stepped into a club. The last time i went was on Christmas eve, for countdown. It was to filter and i didn't like it at all. Lol. Then before that was 9 April 2012. SEE WHAT I MEAN?! Haha and yes i went to check on my blog over here. 

Sleepover at Kezzy's a few days back!

& hmm...this is us squeezing into Kezs's small gib. 

This Esther Tan sat on my legs and for a moment in the jeep, they went numb :'(  But it's ok cos we had fun ^^. We drove to Bishan to prawn from 1.45am and stayed there till close to 6am #winner. 

& i think at some point we kinda got lost but it was fun getting lost. I mean, Kezs didn't mind and we had a good laugh and good "shit where are we" moments.

I'm sorry we had to do this to you..... :( 

We bbqed some and packed the rest back to give kezs's family and the uncle there said our remaining prawns are at least 2kg. Hehe

That was my second time prawning and i swear the first one hour i didn't catch anything. Only me -_- Everyone else including esther caught and i couldn't believe it. Lol. BUT after the first prawn i caught, they just kept coming to me *flips hair* Ok lah, i have to thank kai xuan for that cos he was coaching me. Apparently you need skill to catch them and i lacked of that in the beginning but after he taught me, how, my prawn count went up and beat Esther's. Hehe

My week in a nutshell

January is coming to an end, how's 2013 for you? For me, it's just being busy and getting through everyday. Sometimes i just feel so drained and tired and i don't want to do anything at all but i can't. Sleepless nights, trying to have social life, doing well for projects and all. School is ending....16 more days i tell myself. With hectic January ending soon, i welcome february with open arms. Chinese new year, less hectic school schedule, graduate unofficially in mid feb, marketing chalet etc. There are so many things to look forward to. I will miss my friends though :'(

I just had my imc presentation this morning and my group was voted to be the people's choice/class' choice of having the best ideas. I am so happy even though this doesn't mean anything but at least i feel that our efforts were recognised.

All's well ends well. 

I was so tired cos we only had 3 hours of sleep the night before. I cabbed home with jo after presentation and took a 7 hours nap/sleep. LOL i just woke up like 2 hours ago. 

The girls went to xy's house to sleepover and to prepare for our presentation yesterday night especially since jo and i live so far away from school. We only slept after 3am and woke up at like 6-7am. I just wanted to crawl back to bed. 

 Hehe so attracted to each other.

Hahahahahahahahaha someone's pj for that night. We all know who~ LOL 

On saturday, i went to sushi tei with Bryan and his family + grandmothers and aunt. I kept bugging him to go sushi tei with me and it was funny how his mum suggested that place. My eyes lit up immediately haha. THEIR MENTAI SUSHI IS THE FUCKING BOMB I TELL YOU. They ordered lots of side dishes to share and i felt like i was having buffet. Haha so full and i didn't even finish my salmon don. 

Met the usuals after that for a short catch up and chilled at starbucks til 3am+ gossiping. hahaha we always talk about last time and all. Like, "Remember last time Bryan tore his pants?" "Remember we used to.......". Good ol' times! 

On sunday, i woke up at 11+ in the morning cos my sister kinda woke me up >:\ I was quite grumpy considering that i slept at 4am. Anyw, i decided to have my own lunch and made my lemon chicken wraps. Hehe

Brought lunch box to school the next day and made the wrap for Bryan too ^^ Look, it's AC spork and spoon! haha i took them home last time cos i thought they're really cute. Now they came in handy. I came home that day after projects and guess what i had for dinner?

XMAS #1

Christmas Celebration #1 

Had a mini christmas party with the ex-groupies on Tuesday! We also exchanged presents even though i forgot to bring mine. LOL. It was a honest mistake. It really slipped off my mind cos i was rushing out. I only realised it on the cab so too bad for KK. Gonna pass him his present tmr at Christmas Celebration #2. 

So i planned the Christmas dinner for 6 and this was the menu i came up with ;)

1. Lasagne

2. Potato Gratin

3. Clam chowder 

4. Mashed potato 

5. Chocolate Fondue

Ok lah actually i only came up with the first 2. Haha. Chocolate fondue was a last minute decision and KK came up with the potato salad (which nobody fancies hahaha)

After getting everything, we went to Kezs's house and cooked up a storm! I swear his maid was damn scared we will burn down the house. She was monitoring all of us. Hahaha.

Ahem. I was the head chef and KK was the assistant chef. Esther was just....the vegetable cutter and CL was the dish washer. LOL.

In the end no one really ate the potato salad cos we were stuffed. Plus the potato gratin was tastier. I used Jamie Oliver's recipe for the gratin btw! ^^

That's it! The sleepover was fun and as usual, we fought for blanket like nobody's business. The next day was spent playing Wii and on my bed. 

Gonna have christmas party #2 tmr and a mini christmas celebration + countdown with my girlfriends on the 24th! Also having a Christmas lunch with my family on the 25th!!! Wheeeee, love christmas! Too bad Bryan isn't with me. Oh well.
