Met the boy for dinner after work on Friday and we went back to Izakaya Nijumaru Restaurant. It was our 3rd time there :)
$16 for this but it was fresh so i guess it's fine.
My Katsu Curry Rice! $11/$12 if i'm not wrong.
He gave me 3 choices for dinner the minute we met and said he knew i would choose Japanese Cuisine. Haha what... it's really my favourite cuisine. I told him we should eat more Japanese food over dinner because Japanese snugged the title of the world's oldest person for the previous and current record!
Me: "Then we might win the title of the world's oldest couple!"
Him: *smile* "So you wanna grow old with me? That's quite sweet"
Me: *ROLL EYES*
Him: "What?! It's really sweet what"
I always spoil our "sweet" moments haha.
He came to my house and we started doing stupid things till 3am before he took a cab home. Lol I like how we talk about random things then all of a sudden we start having stupid ideas and execute them together.
Saturday was spent with my girlfriends! Well, Ying and i were supposed to head down to RWB Sales but we woke up late and only reached there at 12pm (the sales started at 11am) and the queue was MASSIVE :'( We were deciding between queuing or just forget about it and i asked 2 girls who were queuing at the first quarter of the queue and they told me they had already queued for 1 hour. So i decided to forget about it. Sigh.
We went back to Ying's place to take the car, fetched Mel from mrt station and off we go to Necessary Provisions for lunch! I wanted Coastal Settlement initially but since we got the car, it makes more sense to go somewhere further and more inaccessible. So I chose Necessary Provisions :)
Wearing my Gold Heart necklace gifted to me from the girls :)
My Beef Pastrami Sandwich!
All 3 of us ordered sandwich because we weren't very hungry and mine turned out to be the best. In fact, i quite like it albeit the hard bread. It was like a bicep workout trying to slice my sandwich with the knife. I also had an iced latte which was alright. I think Forty Hands has the best coffee out of the cafes i've visited.
Bad lighting. Meh.
After that we drove to fetch Audrey from work before driving to Everton Park for Audacious Cakery. I've been there twice with Bryan BUT both times we didn't get to try their cakes so this time, i suggested to go there. Also because we planned to have Korean for dinner and Everton Park is kinda near.
We only ordered a lemon meringue tart and blueberry white tea to share because we were still so full from our sandwiches.
Super love the packaging for this bottle!
I quite like their lemon meringue tart actually. It was not too sweet nor was it too sour. I promise i'll be back to try other cakes!
After chilling for about an hour or two, it was time for dinner. We walked to Tanjong Pagar to have Manna Korean Restaurant for dinner. I literally spent my Saturday pigging out lol. My weekends are always so sinful i wanna kill myself. Wait till you see what i ate for Sunday (next post)
