Poulet x Bacchanalia

Yesterday was the day. The day my boy left me. The day when boys become men. I wonder how and what is he doing constantly. I don't know why but i'm worried for him haha. The worse thing is i won't be there for his first book out :O

Last thursday i met him for dinner after my JB trip with some of my colleagues. My colleagues and i went around eating, shopping and ended the short trip with a full body massage which was superb. I really needed that so i feel refreshed and rejuvenated after it.

We wanted to have fish soup but there was a long queue so we ended up eating Poulet @ Bugis +

Met again on Saturday to watch Thor! His sister had 2 free tickets so she gave us :) We even got complimentary popcorn and pepsi. Poor boy waited for me because i was late so we missed about 5 minutes of the show. Hehe i like the movie even though some might argue that the plot sucks. I really like the fact that they injected some humor element in it.

Anyway, we met up with his family for dinner thereafter. It was like a belated birthday celebration + farewell dinner for Bryan. His mother reserved a table for us at Bacchanalia

Lazy to type the name of the dishes, if you really wanna know then go to my instagram ok?

 Prawn Risotto

 Scallop

 Steak Tatar

 Foie Gras Satay

 Pork Belly

  Complimentary pre-dessert - Strawberry Meringue

Avocado and something.... just a heads up, DO NOT order this.

White chocolate cherry tart. My favourite dessert of the lot.

Pineapple Tatin

What you see here is just one portion of the food. For every dish we ordered, we had to order at least 2 because the concept there is sharing (similar to Spathe). The waiter explained that the dishes are bigger than appetizer but smaller than main course. For example, 2 person can take 3 dishes to share. However, the price they charged is like a main course price i would say.

The food is mostly unique and has an acquired taste (like the avocado) and glad to say i liked most of the dishes. Anyway, I think it was a good experience and the setting there gives off a very posh feeling. I think it's a good place to go for a date too.

Next post will be on JG's 21st birthday, followed by another beauty product review ;)

Frankly speaking i'm no blogger let alone being a beauty blogger but i'm just lucky to be kindly sponsored. So, i'm just saying i gotta do my job.
