Selfie time because B was taking exceptionally long to prepare that day. We headed to Chinatown to collect his new specs! Was having a bad hair day so i decided to wear my bucket hat out.
Hehe didn't regret investing in a flip screen camera!

We had lunch at Maxwell hawker centre because i wanted chicken rice. We usually buy from tian tian chicken rice but i read someone's blog about another chicken rice stall that's very similar to tian tian so i decided to try it out. It's just 2 stalls away!
Apparently, the head chef of tian tian is now the cook for this chicken rice stall (I didn't get the name). He's the one who came up with the recipe and had worked at tian tian for many years. However, he fell out with the owner's daughter when she took over the stall so he started out on his own.
(P.S i'm not sure if the online source could be trusted though.)
I tried it and it's seriously very similar to tian tian's chicken rice in terms of taste! Gonna buy from him from now onwards because if what i read online was true, he deserves the credit. Plus i don't have to queue :)

If you realised, Bryan wasn't looking at the camera for all the photos except the last. Lol he was looking at the flip screen instead. Well i don't blame him because apparently everyone does that.
And... he used to be really tanned but now he's fairer than me. Whut.
