Chef-ing around

(From 1st Oct onwards, my url will be changed back to www.her-everything.blogspot.sg. NO MORE www.her-everything.com)

Hi there. It's Monday and I'm blogging from home. This week will be a 3 day work week as I won't be going to work on Friday too.

Sweater: Hong Kong
Bottom: Bangkok

I'm really into skorts right now because it's so fuss free. I don't have to worry about going up the stairs or running after the bus.

Top: MGL label
Bottom: Bangkok
Shoes: Sperry

My worn-to-death skorts from Bangkok. I like how it's really comfortable and not annoyingly short for me. I have so much trouble buying dresses, skirts and even shorts sometimes because they are usually too short for me. Unlike some girls i see on the streets, i don't like to show my butt cheeks to the world.

Bottom: Topshop

I'm not sure if you've noticed but i've been wearing jeans quite often now. I even lost count of how many times i've worn jeans this year. This Topshop jeans is my favourite pair of jeans as of now! It's so comfy i don't even feel like i'm wearing jeans. Hehe gonna get more of these.

--------------------------------------------

There was a short period of time where i started bringing lunch to work because 1) We always eat unhealthily for lunch 2) Save money?

There's a question mark at the end because eating healthy is actually quite expensive haha. But i rationed whatever i bought and split them into 3 days + used whatever i could find at home.

Hello Kitty Aglio olio pasta with pan-seared salmon and stir fried vegetables.

Stir fried luncheon meat with cucumbers + boiled broccoli and salmon.

Decided to boil the broccoli and salmon because luncheon meat is processed so.... I was trying to make up for it. Haha yeah my weird twisted logic.

Hello kitty pasta with napoleon sauce + boiled broccoli and salmon + fried egg.

When i heated this up in the pantry, the Finance guy came over and went like, "Wah what smell is that? So nice. Whose food?" But i not so buay paiseh lah. I just kept quiet haha.

 Made meatballs for my colleagues!

Potluck in the office. Come to think of it, it was quite weird because the only asian food was the korean rice cake Janis made. I almost wanted to make that too because it's so easy but decided not to because the rest of them making/buying westernised food. Thank god i didn't or else we would have 2 servings of korean rice cake. Lol

I've stopped bringing/cooking my own lunch for a while now because i'm really lazy to cook. Maybe i should do that soon.
