Last weekend

Decided to be a good girlfriend and bought a little something for Bryan out of the blue because he has been nothing short of amazing and i know it wasn't easy giving in to me all the time and tolerate my nonsense and stupid tantrums.
Not sure why the colour turned out like this in photo.

Last Thursday was our company's congress @ MBS Convention Hall. I guess by now y'all should already know i'm working in a realtor company as Marketing Executive. Well, i bumped into Alvin!!! It was so unexpected but i'm glad to have seen him there. I knew him from my internship company, SPH. He wasn't my direct reporting supervisor but he was so damn nice to all of us.

There was this one time i decided to be a rebel. I sneaked out of the office earlier to go home just because i was...bored i guess. I got caught eventually hahahahaha. Then i felt so bad because all of them were really nice to the interns :/ Alvin is like a dear friend and a big brother to me. When i bumped into him at the congress, he still asked me to go back to SPH. Can you believe it? I mean, after all, i did sneaked out and left early. Why would he want me back right? HAHA that's how nice he is.

Met Bryan after the congress to have dinner and had Fruit Paradise as desserts. I have such a sweet tooth i think it's doing me no good. I hardly drink plain water and always drink sweet drinks. Someday, it would be the death of me. I can't even lose weight because i'm constantly craving for something sweet. FML

Then came Friday, the day that caused me to be sick until now....

Had Katong Laksa for lunch and a cup of Caramel latte. By 4pm, i felt my throat being really dry. So i downed loads of water and drank green tea but that didn't help. I met Bryan for dinner and suggested Strictly Pancakes since i was craving for pancakes. I ordered their Banana Scotch and a cup of Chocolate Oreo Milkshake. I think i ate too much heaty and sweet food that day.... my throat gave way lor.

I started having sore throat and developed cough. :(

BUT stubborn me refused to give in to illness because i had Wah Lok for brunch on Sunday, despite feeling under the weather for 2 days already. Was having flu, sore throat and slight cough.

My slight cough had developed into a full blown cough on Monday. MEH. I just consulted the doctor and had my medicines. Please let me be well again. I really hate being sick :'(

Today also marks Bryan's and my 1886 days together. Sorry for being a sick cat on this day. And also sorry for being such a bitch every other day haha but you know i always enjoy the time spent with you even though you can be really annoying at times. Just so you know, no one can replace you in my heart :)

Hello There

It's Thursday today and i'm all alone in the office. You know what's the problem here? As long as D is not around, most of my colleagues won't be around too. Haha. Anyway, i've been spending money like i earn big bucks this month so i'm quite broke currently. I refused to touch my saving money cos i wanna control my expenditures.

Let's date back to last Saturday when the usuals met up for a movie and dinner date. I met Melissa and JG after my facial so my hair for the day was quite ugly haha. Anways, we watched We're the Millers and it's quite funny! Must watch! After the movie, we went to Clarke Quay to meet Bryan before walking to Mhd Sultan to have our dinner at Spathe again. If you remember, Bryan & i went there previously with his family over here.We love the food too much so we went back for more!

Mammoth size chicken and the sea and mammoth size watermelon lemonade.

Chicken & the sea is just seafood paella. Actually we tried it previously and i didn't quite like it cos it tasted different from the normal paella but Melissa and Bryan wanted so we just ordered it.

Not sure if you can tell from this photo but both boys are red after drinking watermelon lemonade because it contains Vodka. JG can't drink Vodka at all and Bryan basically can't drink any alcohol because he is alleged to it. Sucks to be him lol.

 Us, without Jet.

Had to change the colour to black and white because the lighting sucks.

We ended the day with Laurent Bernard's desserts! I actually wanted Spathe's carrot cake because i love it but it was sold out that day -_- That guy bought a whole carrot cake so i didn't get to eat it. In the end we decided (or rather Bryan & i decided) that we should go over to Laurent Bernard instead.

We ordered to share but the Pleasure (middle one) was everyone's favourite. Ahem... *cough* I ordered that. Hehe. We stayed there talking and laughing all the way to 12am before heading home. I just wanna tell y'all i love you! We may have our differences etc but we're infinite when we come together! HAHA so cheesy.

Then on Sunday, I woke up early to have lunch with my sister at Steak Out @ Bras Basah. I was late for 30mins though :/ Went to Vivo City to meet Bryan after my lunch but i was damn early. Like 90 minutes early hahahaha wtf. So i shopped around and guess what........... I spent close to $200 at Topshop. I just cannot be alone in the shopping mall because i really cannot control BUT i didn't regret one bit. I love what i bought!!!! Hehe scroll down to see later.

Ok i felt weird wearing this out cos it made me look super girly right? HAHA like i'm not those type of girls leh but my sister liked the top anyway.

Bryan finally came and we had desserts at Magnum's pop out store!

You can order the customized ones for only $7 but ours costed about $34 total? I didn't think it was worth it but Bryan didn't want to customize -_-

Dinner was at Jamie's Italian again! Haha this is so funny because the previous time i blogged, it was about Spathe and Jamie's Italian. And now, this post too.

We came here with his family this time!

Wild Mushroom Ravoli

I didn't take other photos because the lighting was very bad as you can tell. In fact, Bryan shone torchlight over my food for me to take a photo haha. We had a lot of food and we were really stuffed by then but i realised that their mains were not fantastic at all. I mean, we came here twice and both times the mains weren't up to our expectations. The starters and especially the desserts were really good though!

I love their tiramisu and their brownie. Double thumbs up! I can't really remember how to describe the brownie but it was really good. Must order! For starters you can order their risotto balls and the cured meat plank. & one thing for sure, their service is really out of the world! This is something that is really important to me, good customer service.

Fast forward to Tuesday, it was such a chilly day so i wore my new Topshop's "Jacket". I REALLY LOVE IT. This is the only jacket that i spent so much on.

Semi OOTD taken while in the cab to work.

Lunch was at the newly opened Tim Ho Wan @ Toa Payoh. That day the rest of my colleagues went to JB so it was just the 2 of us left.

 We queued for 45mins -_-

All these for 2 person. We over ordered and our bill came up to $62. In the end we tabao-ed some back.

Met Bryan afterwards for dinner even though i didn't eat cos i was stuffed. Still feeling pretty darn full from my dim sum lunch. Lol. Oh ya, the first thing i met him i just kept complaining to him about my 2 ulcers and how i wanna cry (just saying only lah) because they hurt for many days alrd. I guess he couldn't take it anymore because he went in to Guardian's Pharmacy immediately and bought me ulcer cream. Then he/we went to Watson and he bought me a bottle of Fish Oil supplements because he said my immune system is weak.

Meh. Today was my second day eating the fish oil and i didn't like it at all because it's too big to swallow. Lol. And they smell weird...... but i'm taking them religiously because i don't wanna waste his money.

P.S My ulcers are still here :'(

Sorry about the colour. The lighting sucks too -_-

HK day 4, 5, 6

Before i got too lazy, i'm back with HK day 4, 5 and 6. I wanna faster finish blogging about them so i can move on. Haha. Ok so on day 4, we went to Causeway Bay because i wanna go F21! We went to Time Square first and bought nothing. Haha i wanted to get M&S's cereal because it was cheaper but didn't cos i think they will judged me. Lol.

Oh right, the only thing i bought @ Times Square was B&J's ice cream. Lol. It was more expensive than singapore's but i just had to eat them.

My sister recommended for us to have lunch at 池记. As you can tell from the signboard, they are known for their wanton mee and i love wanton mee hehe. I  think they are famous for their soup wanton mee but i ordered the dry one which is just alright.

Where are the wantons? They only served me noodles with oyster sauce :/

Haha kidding, the wantons were underneath the noodles.

LOVE HK'S YOU CAI. SO DAMN GOOD.

Remember i said HK's standard of service sucks? At 池记, their service was quite good! I think they had the best service throughout our stay there. So i'm definitely going back there again because good service makes me happy.

The only F21 in HK and it's 6 story high. Hehe i think my mum, sis and i spent like 3 hours here!

You can only try on 6 pieces of clothing per visit to the fitting room. I went to the fitting room 4 times, each with 6 clothings in my hands. Insane.

Taken during my first/second visit and then i was so tired of changing lol. Super love this shorts but they didn't have it in my size :'(

Met the rest for dinner at some random place before heading to Victoria Peak!

It was so goddamn windy up there and we were all freezing. My very smart mum only brought a cardigan up and she was wearing sleeveless so we exchanged and i wore her cardigan. I swear i was freezing but i know my mum needs it more than i do.

A cup of warm green tea latte at the peak to make myself feel better.

We headed back to our apartment and my uncle bought us supper from a Chinese eatery nearby. That was why i said i gained 10kg there cos i ate non stop. Literally non stop. Lol. Anyw i just saying i think i might gain 10kg, not proven yet hor. I don't want you guys to think i'm a fat ball now. hahaha

I found Hello Kitty cup noodles at 711! Regretted not buying back to Singapore.

Day 5 was to Ocean Park!!!!

Ocean Park was so much better than Disneyland HK. More rides - definitely more thrilling ones, cheaper, more things to see because they have aquarium, a mini zoo and shows at different timing. It is also much bigger than Disneyland.

Otw to take the cable car, we walked passed Old HK street and i'm in love. I mean, look!!! Everything here is so nice. I love history and i really like how they try to make this area looked like it was in the 60s. I told Bryan that i really hope i was born in the 60s. He thinks i'm mad. I think the 60s was more beautiful as compared to now.

Lunch. Sucks.

LOLOLOLOLOL my dad thinks he's LKY. Haha btw i have the same initial too. Jessica LKY & my dad's initial is LYK. How cool. Haha

Lepak only.

My sister have more photos on her camera which i will share with y'all once i got it!

Left the place at about 5pm and went to another place to shop + dinner. It's a wholesale mall BUT it's quite expensive so we didn't get anything at all. Meh.

We decided that it wasn't enough since it was our last night alrd so we headed over to Mongkok again and went to Argyle Centre once again. Argyle Centre is really good for shopping for the ladies and it's much cheaper as compared to outside.

Day 6, last day. Went for breakfast with only mum and sis because we wanna bring mum to Australia Dairy Company BUT it was closed -_- Was so disappointed because we wanna have the steam egg with milk before we go back :'(

So we had no choice but to dine in at some random dim sum restaurant which was surprisingly not bad.

THIS IS HOW CUSTARD BUN SHOULD BE. Not like the loser one i ate on my second day.

New passport holder which i bought from Temple Street in HK.

& it's home sweet home. I didn't feel particularly sad about leaving HK because like i said, i rather go bkk and i miss my rabbit. Haha wtf. Ok that's about it. Have a Good Friday tmr!
