Started our second day bright and early because we were travelling to an amusement park! Actually, we woke up really early every single day in Japan because we had a lot to cover in just 10 days.
B: Let's take some photos outside our apartment!
The sun....omg. Don't even get me started. We picked the wrong period to visit Japan because it was summer and it was 33 to 34 degrees almost everyday. I died. By the third day, i've had a heat rash on my thighs. I was quite miserable there because we started perspiring almost immediately after stepping out of our apartment. Since we were out for the entire day, you can imagine how uncomfortable it was.
Found this quaint little eatery to have our breakfast and these are the 2 very friendly owners. B and i were the only foreigners in this eatery and apparently the japanese were very fascinated by our actions lol.
Like how i took photos of the food, how B took pictures of me, how i took a vlog etc hahaha. They kept looking at us and smiling.
When the lady from the next table left, she said bye to us and gave us her japanese cheesecake (wrapped in plastic in the picture).
It was close to 10am by the time we were done. When i still wanted to wander around the neighbourhood, Bryan was like, "It's already 10! We have to go." And so we took the subway to Kuwana Station and had to transfer a bus to take us to Nagashima Spaland.
B: Let's take a wefie with the word Kuwana at the back.
Lol
This is our bus ticket to Nagashima Spaland
Admission Ticket
Nagashima Spaland is divided into half. One half of it is the amusement park, another half is actually a waterpark which only opens in Summer. We only bought the ticket to the amusement park though.
First ride: Viking ship!
Actually, B wasn't very keen to take viking haha. He suggested taking something milder so we could warm up first. Me, "But Viking is mild! It's not even scary?" Lol so yup, he agreed to take this reluctantly. While we were queuing at the second last row, a group of japanese kids, no older than 8, went straight for the last row so i started teasing him that even the kids weren't scared.
After a while, he just looked at me and said, "You know what, let's take the last row too!" I kept asking if he was sure and he was like ya let's go. And... the rest was history hahaha. Let's just say i had a great laugh at him.
P.S I took footage of it hehe so just wait for the vlog to see how hard he tried to act brave
Apparently, this was the only ride i managed to bring my camera up.
I was forced to take this lame ride that goes in a circle to show us the view of the amusement park.
Again, i was forced to take this "swan" ride which required us to paddle and go around the pond in one big circle lol. I kept saying no but he pestered me and kept whining non-stop, like a kid.
This place is so beautiful at night.
Left the place after taking this photo and wanted to walk to the outlet mall just beside the amusement park. We managed to find the place but everything was closed lol. Shops close at 8pm in Japan i don't even know why. Went back to our area and decided to have a bowl of ramen (again) for supper.
Too eager to eat so i actually mixed the ramen and took a few bites already. We thought the first bowl of ramen we had on our first night was good enough but this one was even better! And it was just a 5min to our apartment ^^
Found this big supermarket so we popped in to take a look. No one leaves Japan's supermarkets and convenience stores empty-handed. We came in without the intention of buying anything but somehow ended up buying everything lol. They have so many "cool" stuff so we couldn't resist. This Bryan took puddings, milk, and some other nonsense which were left untouched until the last day in Nagoya when we had to leave for Tokyo.
