While I like their XO carrot cake, har gao and the glutinous rice (荷叶饭), I'm not a fan of their custard bun (流沙包). In fact, i think it's quite gross because as you bite on it, the oil drips out. 

Me: Omg is that the oil????

Bryan: No. It's happiness

HAHA wtf my boyfriend is full of nonsense.

We went to town to get some stuff before i rushed off to meet my year 2 group! I still remember we celebrated last Christmas together by cooking up a storm at Kezs's house. And we had christmas gift exchange too. This was supposed to be our Christmas gathering but we were all too busy to meet so we only met on the 29th. Which is more for New Year haha. 

But i'm glad we met though. They had dinner first while i met them slightly later for Udders ice cream! Then as usual, we went to Kezs's place to chill.  We wanted to have a sleepover but most of us had something on the next day :/

We left reluctantly at 12am haha. So close... so close to not going home even though i was quite tired towards the end of the day. I would say it was a Sunday well spent! I really miss doing projects in school, as absurd as it might sound. I miss seeing my friends almost everyday :( 

Not only them, my year 1 and year 3 friends too. I hate the whole "the grass is always greener on the other side" thing. Sigh.
