Happy Friday everyone! Even though this week is a short work week with Wednesday being a PH, i've been looking forward to this day since....last Sunday? Lol. I can finally say TGIF!

Anyway i met up with my girlfriends on Wednesday for karaoke session! It has been so long. Teo heng is still so popular (since it's cheap),  i didn't get to book a room despite trying twice or thrice this year. I almost give up. Surprisingly we managed to get a room on a PH from 7pm to 10pm! Forgot to take photos with audrey who left after dinner.

On my lips is my new YSL lipstick. I'm so amazed by their lipsticks because the colours are so vivid and long-lasting. This is from the shine series so it is not as lasting as the matt one i have (as seen here) BUT it's still awesome. I only touched up once that day.

I'm an avid YSL lipstick fan now :)

Since it had been so long, i don't know all the new mandopop lah. I don't even listen to chinese songs now so I only sang all the older chinese songs and of course english songs too. Somehow, i have more feel for mandopop instead of english songs whenever i go karaoke. 

It felt so good so we decided to make it a monthly affair! I think we say only lah cos all of us are really busy with our various commitments so it's kinda hard for all 4 of us to meet very often. I've always wanted to drag B to go with me but this guy doesn't sing chinese songs because he cannot even read chinese words -_-

Since it was a PH, we paid $18 each for 3 hours for a medium size room. If you go during the non peak period, it's only about $10-15 each depending on the size of room.

4.40pm

Just had a slice of toasted bread with chunky peanut butter cos i'm falling asleep. Work's a bore..... Am counting down to 6pm now before i go to the east to meet B for dinner. If you remembered, he's still "crippled". I've been making trips to find him for the past 2 weeks because he is home-bound. I'm so sick of taking 2 hours to travel to and fro. Lol am i a bad girlfriend for complaining? Previously, we went to the market near his house to have lunch. It was a usual 10mins walk but we ended up taking about 30mins to go there and we eventually took a cab back to his house cos he said he couldn't stand walking back in his crutches, especially when there are a lot of slopes around his estate.

Taking risks

Kbox with my girlfriends on the 12th! So glad to see all of them ^^. 

I was rushing to meet them cos i was late(as usual) then i noticed someone walking very fast behind me. Try to imagine 2 complete stranger walking at a very fast pace towards the same direction. I felt weird but i thought he was probably rushing to somewhere too, then, a sudden tap on my shoulder. 

It was a middle aged man. 30-40 years old. 

I thought he wanted to hit on me. knnwtf i know. My heart was like, "No...not now pls!" Turned out he is from some modelling agency in ngee ann city (or so he claimed to be) and he asked me to be a freelance model. Which i strongly believe that it was a scam so i just brushed him off and rushed to meet my girls.

I have no intention to become a model and i know i'm not capable of it in any way but i was just wondering, if all these were a scam, then how do people actually become a freelance model? Idk...because whenever someone approaches you in the public, you always think it's a scam right? Happened to me like 3-4 times and every single time, i just said no and walked off. Do people really believe them and go and try out? 

I think it all boils down to taking risk because life is all about taking risk. Taking necessary risks, in order to succeed.

Dinner @ Long John silver and i was so happy because i can never eat ljs with the boy. He hates it. We spent like hours talking non-stop until the boy came to fetch me. I said no, but he insisted to come down so yup. Chillax @ Cold Stone Creamery and had my strawberry banana ice cream! Ultimate favourite there! 

I think it's such a fun environment to work there! The staffs were singing at the top of their lungs to Adele's rolling in the deep and they were tossing the ice cream to each other. Even when i eat there, i feel happy because there are so much positive vibes in the air ^^

It feels good to be doing nothing

I'm finally done with year 1. Time really flies, too damn fast. 

Just some time back i was still taking my N' level and now..i'm moving on to year 2.

Even though my class isn't that bonded as a whole, i still love my girls! hehe

& sadly, we'll be separated in year 2 since only jo and i chose mrkting among our clique.

After our main exam which ended on the 3rd march, our clique went to makan at manhanttan fish market followed by a karaoke session @ Kbox. Lol & mama kept saying, "we go eat fish manhanttan lah" 

We'll be having a class outing this coming wed (i think?) and our clique planned to go ice skating together and Johor to shop!!!!! So exciting right. hehe but so far we haven't really start planning cos we're all busy looking for a job. idk when is my AC training.... Ok pictures!

There were 7 of us on that day cos annie couldn't make it.
