Just thought i'll do a little update since i'm free today. Christmas and New year flew by in a blink of an eye and it's already 2017 now. Christmas was spent with R and my friends going across the border for the countdown. Tbh, i wasn't expecting much cos there were hiccups here and there but it turned out to be so much fun. I was also a bit worried that R would be bored there but i'm glad he enjoyed himself too hehe.

That night was epic. I wished i had recorded down everything so i could rewatch it over and over again next time. Sadly, i don't even have many photos to show.

Christmas Gift Exchange!

As for my New Year, i counted down with R's friends @ Marina Barrage before heading over to Suite26 to find my friends after we caught the fireworks.

Tbh, i think i ended 2016 and started 2017 on a good note. I was genuinely happy and contented and i couldn't ask for anything more.

Then here come 2 days back, when Audrey, Melissa, SY and i made our way to JB to spend our Sunday.

Happy for my bestie who has found the love of her life!

Dinner was at this cafe called The Roost. This place serves food that is similar to Aloha-Poke/ A Poke Theory/ Ninja Bowl. The interior was also nicely decorated and has complementing music which gives off a very chill vibe.

The seared tuna was so yumz

Koone for dessert but sadly their standard dropped so much wtf. I remembered it was nice but now it was barely edible -_- I'm never going back to Koone again.

Christmas Wonderland

I gave Christmas Wonderland a miss last year cos I was working at APG until mid December and by the time it ended, I had to go Taiwan for holiday soon. Tbh, I was quite surprised R asked me to go together because I didn't think he would like it. Furthermore, we had to pay entry fee now when it used to be free...

Love the fries and the margarita slush. The slush was soooo good

We only came to Paul's cos I was perspiring outside and Paul's was located within the ice skating rink and snow playground. The cake was so-so but worth it for the aircon I guess lol.

2015, here we go!

Happy new year guys! I know it's 2015 now but i'm gonna blog about my pre-christmas with Bryan before he flew to Japan for 10 days. He's back now if you're wondering. We headed to Gardens By The Bay for the Christmas Market. Everything was great, except for the weather. It was really stuffy and warm there and to think i actually wore long sleeves and leggings.

Anyway photos was kinda shaky because i still don''t know how to operate my camera..... after 6 months. HAHA i always use the auto mode lah but somehow if i use auto mode at night, it has to be really stable or else the picture turns out blur.

That was when i realised i need to start learning how to use my camera properly otherwise it's just a waste of money. I actually did trial-and-error to get the photos below.

You see Bryan smiling right? But he was actually quite grumpy because he said i only focus on my camera when we go out. LOL was he competing with my camera for my attention?

There were quite a few stalls selling food there. We bought a mac and cheese ball from the travelling cow and a burrito from another stall. Mac and cheese ball was quite tasty though i think it was a bit expensive to pay $8 for 5 balls. After that we went to dine at the travelling tent (if i remember correctly).

Bryan said this concept is quite common in Europe.

He was probably asking me to shut up cos i kept talking :'O
What a RUDE DUDE.

I love you :)

Another year with you. This February marks our 6th year together. Every time i tell people we are together for 6 years already, i always get "Wah can get married alrd lah." Haha i hope so but not so soon since we are both young and are not financially stable.

Am grateful to have him by my side for 6 years. I don't know what the future holds and to be honest, i don't even want to think about it. All i know is I am happy with him and that's all that matters right now. Whether we get married in the future or not, we will always be a part of each other. And i know we will always care for each other regardless of our status.

“Be kind to yourself in the year ahead.Remember to forgive yourself, and to forgive others. It’s too easy to be outraged these days, so much harder to change things, to reach out, to understand.Try to make your time matter: minutes and hours and days and weeks can blow away like dead leaves, with nothing to show but time you spent not quite ever doing things, or time you spent waiting to begin.Meet new people and talk to them. Make new things and show them to people who might enjoy them.Hug too much. Smile too much. And, when you can, love.”—  Neil Gaiman’s advice for 2015

Xmas'14

I know i've mentioned it so many times but time freaking flies? I can't believe 2014 is coming to an end in a few days time. I'm turning 23 next year and somehow it's kinda scary. I wished i were still 18 years old lah. That's my favourite age.

Christmas eve was spent with my girlfriends. We usually spend all the big occasions together. Like birthdays, christmas, new year etc. Didn't really have a concrete plan so we decided to have a simple celebration by spending our christmas eve cooking xmas dinner and sleeping over at Mel's. I was late though so by the time i had arrived the dinner was already served lol. Thank you girls for cooking for me and being understanding of my lateness :) I was really drained to the bones as i either stayed up late or didn't sleep at all for the past 3 days before xmas eve. All for a reason but i don't want to talk about sad things now.

As you can see, i looked really cui. Almost wanted to call it off but i didn't want to be a wet blanket and be the Grinch who stole christmas lol. Am glad i decided to go ahead with the plan even when i had a headache after that (due to fatigue).

Didn't sleep a wink that night and concussed immediately when i reached home at 7.30am in the morning. I slept all the way from around 8am to 5.30pm and slept again at 2-3am to 12.30pm. I was still damn tired when i woke up btw. So yup, i slept my Christmas day away haha. I wouldn't say this is the best Christmas as something unexpected happened and i had to cancel most of my plans for christmas but it's still a joy to be able to have a simple one with people i cherish.
