Had a simple celebration with my family on the 8th and my fat nephew came back to celebrate my birthday :) No photos of the dinner, just a few photos with this little boy i've known for 13 years. I used to coax him to sleep all the time when he was just a toddler. Time flies, he's already turning 13 this year :')
So on the 9th, everyone came over to my house to sing birthday song and cut cake in the afternoon before i went off with Bryan.
Rushed to pack my bag cos he asked me to bring 4 sets of clothes - 1 causal, 1 swimwear, 1 dress for dinner and 1 set of PJs. He refused to reveal any more information about my birthday celebration. Since i had to bring my PJs, i reckoned he booked a hotel room because he knows i don't like to celebrate my birthday in a chalet.
I was led into a cab, blindfolded, with music blasting through the headset. After about 10 minutes, he took off my blindfold and ParkRoyal on Pickering appeared in front of my eyes. I was like :O you booked a room here? And he said i told him before (i don't even remember) that i wanted to have a staycation here.

Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready yet. So we decided to go to the club lounge to chill while waiting. I think he booked the deluxe room which gave us access to the club lounge! It's quite worth it to pay a bit more just to get access to the CL. We had our breakfast (7 to 11am), tea break (2-5pm) and cocktail reception (6 to 10pm) settled there! Haha
Can i also say their service is amazing? They asked for our names when we first came and they remembered our names even when we left the next day. Imagine having to remember all the guests' names? I find it quite impressive.

I LOVE HOTEL'S BEDS. THEY ARE SO COMFY.
In fact, i think i slept a lot throughout this staycation haha. I just wanna nua on the bed and never leave it.
We went to the cocktail reception at about 7.30pm just to chill for awhile before going to dinner. I don't think we made the right choice because i wasn't hungry enough to have dinner haha.

Well... i actually tried to iron my dress and i burned a small hole. You can't see here because i used my hair to cover it but boy, was i grumpy. Poor Bryan. You can see the hole in the video at the bottom later.
He brought me to Senso Ristorante & Bar for my dinner because i chose to have Italian food. He was quite surprised because i usually choose Japanese since it's my favourite cuisine.

B's homemade taglierini pasta with Boston lobster, chill flakes and fresh basil. Really delicious too!
I like how they are really generous with the lobster meat. I wish i could have that now.
After that, the waiters came out with a complimentary tiramisu cake for me and sang me a birthday song. Lol. I really dislike the birthday song part because i feel so awkward haha.
We also ordered another dessert to share. I don't remember the name but it's something like a chocolate lava cake.

We resided back to the hotel after that. Since it was a good hair day and good make up day, of course i had to camwhore or they would be "wasted".

I actually slept at 12.30am that night because the bed was just too comfy. Haha. I remembered Bryan talking me but i just answered groggily and went back to slumberland. Since i slept early, i woke up quite early the next day. I was up at 7.30am cos i set alarm for breakfast haha. I planned to have some time to swim before we check out which was why i decided to wake up this early.
To be honest, I was still full from the dinner.
No photo of my breakfast but i was really bloated and i was just like shit.... i didn't want to head to the pool looking like a ball LOL.
I still got down eventually though feeling extremely uncomfortable.
Anyway i decided to chill and suntan on the tanning chair after that so i came out of the pool and guess what? I sort of fell asleep on the tanning chair for 2 hours hahahahaha. Thank god it wasn't sunny by then so i wasn't burned. I guess i can sleep anywhere huh.
We went back to the room to shower and headed to the CL once more for tea break before checking out.
I miss this chocolate muffin.
It's so good omg. The gooey sauce inside tastes like ferrero rocher. Ahhhh... i wish i could find this outside. It's easily the best chocolate muffin i've ever eaten.
