Jessica Leong: Pet's 21st || Animal Kingdom

It was Pet's 21st on the 19th of July and coincidentally, one of my friends was also having a birthday party on that day. I was supposed to go for both but i couldn't make it in time for another one because Pet's one was at Equarius Hotel while my friend's was at NSRCC.

Started my day by meeting B in the afternoon

So Pet's birthday theme was animal kingdom and my friend's one was glitter. I was at wits end. I'm someone who usually follows the theme because that's the fun part but it's quite impossible to dress up to suit both themes so i decided to just wear black haha. What in doubt, wear black.

B & I found the BEST rainbow cake at Dean & Deluca. Each layer has their own distinctive flavour but yet when you eat the layers together, they complement each other so well. I like to eat them layer by layer though, like how i eat kueh lapis. I've eaten quite a few rainbow cakes (coffee daily, NOM, I Am cafe, Craft Bakery and cafe etc) but this is hands down the best one i've had tried.

Wearing my YSL lipstick which lasted me throughout the day without touching up at all. This is definitely worth the investment! I also drew cat wing eyeliner for possibly the first time this year so i guess i went as a cat? Hahahaha. To justify my stand, I also bought cat hairband from Daiso.
