Rewarding

Thought i should note down what my tutee said to me today cos it really made my day. So i started giving tuition about a month back, after my final exams. Today marked my 4th lesson with my boy and about an hour into the lesson, he suddenly turned to me and said, "Wah time passes so fast. You know last time before you teach me, i feel like it's taking very long but now time passes fast because you make the lesson fun and i enjoy it." When he said that, my heart melted cos it's so sweet. After that, he said, "I like you. I'm very happy that you're my tutor." Omg isn't he the sweetest thing ever?! I was so shocked cos i didn't expect that :') After the lesson ended, he didn't want me to leave so he kept taking out other stuff to show me hahaha.

Before taking up the job, i was quite skeptical about it because i don't have enough patience (that's why everyone was so shocked when i said i'm giving tuition now lol) but now, i'm glad i've decided to do so because it seriously gives me such joy when i see my tutee improving and when he said the aforementioned to me. No wonder they say teaching is rewarding.

Actually, i have a lot of photos to upload but they are just bits and pieces from everywhere so i'm thinking if i should? Ok i think i'll just dump everything here lol

My BIL's birthday in April and i got AC's rum and cherry cake cos my sister likes it. I would have gotten chocolate banana if it was up to me cos that's my favourite

Worked for TWFA'16 and here's a picture with the chocolatier who is half German half South African. He was born in South Africa, raised in US and currently residing in Dubai. Lol i swear i was so confused about where he came from because the answer seemed to be always changing. 

At this event, i also had one uncle who wanted to be my sugar daddy LOL

Bagged home some free gifts given by the exhibitors around us

Woke up at 5am-ish for work that day but it's always a joy working alongside with these girls. Thank you Chobani for the free carton of yogurt☺️ #STRun2016

Met Jet and her for dinner at Maki-san before i left to meet James for supper at HDL wtf. I ate 2 meals within 2 hours. Record breaking or what....

Helped my sister for a photoshoot for my niece! Everything you see here is from taobao except the baby LOL. This mermaid costume is so cute though.

Since i'm talking about my niece, i shall throwback to her 1st month party in April.

I'm thinking if i should move my blog to dayre cos i can upload proper videos there. I wanna share my snapchat videos since i take snapchat videos more often than pictures but blogger video uploader is damn stupid? And i don't want to use my youtube channel for snapchat videos.... Shall see how first because the thought of moving my blog again is quite daunting lol.
