64th Monthsary

Time flies. This month is already our 64th months together. Yes, we still make it a point to have dinner together to celebrate our relationship. It feels like it has been a while since i blog about our monthsary celebration.

Bryan brought me to Pasta Brava because i told him i was craving for pasta. This is my boy; always asking me what am i craving for just so he can bring me to satisfy them :) Like my father, he shows me love by pampering me with food.

But first, let me take a selfie. Hehe made an effort to doll up because i hardly do so now.

Statement Necklace is from TLT. This is really gorgeous in real life :)

The first thing Bryan said when he saw me was, "You look good! Very good in fact." and proceeded to nod his head in approval. In fact, i think he told me thrice that night. Hahaha. I like how we are really honest with each other. We are not afraid to give negative comments to each other too.

I was trying out different mode on my camera, hence the different colour.

They recommended Portobello Mushroom to us for starters. Being an avid mushroom lover that we are, of course we ordered that.

 Lol i look so retarded.

Bryan and his ravioli

My Pasta Regina De Mare (or something like that...)

The portion is really generous and it's only $22/$23. It's like seafood marina. I have 4 prawns, some octopus, 2 scallops, half a crayfish and 1 mussels. I love how the pasta is done al dente and all the ingredients are fresh.

I also tried B's ravioli and although i think it's slightly heavy since it's cream based, i think it's nicely done too. The best part is it's not gelat at all, according to Bryan. We were super happy with our food :)

He's a water monster. Wherever we go, his cup of water get refilled at least 5 times.

They provided chalks for us so i happily doodled while waiting for our desserts to be served. Our monthsary is on the 8th but we celebrated 2 days later this month because he was on duty.

My must-order dessert wherever i go is Tiramisu. However, their tiramisu is quite disappointing leh. I think there's too much cream and somehow this just falls flat.

I like Jamie Oliver's Tiramisu although i don't fancy their mains.

Chocolate Lava Cake. If you visit this restaurant, order this!!! The waiter recommended this to us and we have no regrets. This is super good albeit the price. If i'm not wrong, it's $12/$13.

After that, we took a walk to Chinatown since we were very full. Also bought my family's favourite egg tart from Tong Heng. I grew up eating their egg tarts and i'd always buy it back for my family whenever i'm around that area.

We still didn't know how to use my camera at that time so we spent some time trying to figure it out and adjust the lighting, contrast, saturation, aperture, shutter speed etc etc. Damn noob lol but we did something wrongly and the photos came out unlike anything we expected.

In the end he took my photos using my iPhone 5s. Hahahahaha. But i finally figured out how to use it already even though I still have a lot to learn.

OOTD
Bottom: Love Bonito
Bag: Charles & Keith

Candid. I think i was asking B not to anyhow take.

I needed to use the loo so we walked to Park Royal on Pickering just to use the toilet. Haha Bryan always says i got golden butt because i refuse to use the toilets in (certain) malls, mrt stations and hawker centers. In fact, i don't even use the loo in restaurants and cafes. Unless it's really urgent of course.

I just cannot stand dirty toilet. I usually go to hotels to use their toilets lol. If i have to use the toilet in the malls, i'd go to the highest level because the ones on the ground floor are always very dirty.

B stayed over at my house that night and it was just pure bliss to wake up to this face

His eyebrows really last warning.
