Favourite or not?

Did you ever asked your parents who is their favourite child before? I can't remember if I did but research showed that for most dads, their favourite child is their youngest daughter, and for most mums, their favourite child is their oldest son. If your parents told you they love all their children equally, they're lying. For my case, both is true. My mum didn't say that my brother is her favourite child, but I can tell. I bet my sister can tell too. And since young, everyone knows that my dad pamper me a lot and I know I am his favourite child. Okay, very thick skin of me to say it, but I really feel this way. Even mum say I'm my dad's precious.

This got me wondering why do mums favour son instead of daughter? I know the older generation thinks that having a son is better etc and even right now, people still have this mindset. Well, I'm closer to my mum than my dad and I always wonder why would she prefer my brother. I feel that my sister and I are better than him in every way yet he is her favourite. Is it because he is a male? I'm not jealous of it because I think being my dad's favourite is better lol. Cos he is more generous, doesn't really nag cos he is a man of a few words. The only bad thing is that he has a weird temper.

Okay so anyw, y'all should go and observe who is your parents' favourite child and see if this report is accurate :)

PS. Even if you're not any of your parents favourite doesn't mean they don't love you. That's not what I meant. Every parent love their own children, so Yup.
