Bangkok Trip Day 1

I'll be separating my bkk trip into 4 posts (4 days). The photos that i posted here were chosen selectively, if you want to see everything, i uploaded them on my fb alrd :)

So anyw our flight is @ 7.15am. Thank god dad sent us to the airport otherwise we have to waste cab fare again (i'll tell you why on day 4). We reached the airport at 6.10am or so and we had breakfast at polar puff before boarding the plane. Speaking of which, we actually ran to our gate cos we were late. hahaha it was so embarrassing cos people were looking at us. 

I decided to bring a big luggage which i can't carry up to the plane (supposed to bring carry on baggage only) and ended up having it checked in. But hehe i want to stuff all my buys in it and not carry so many bags!

After 2 hours....we arrived at bkk!!!!! Omg it happened so fast. I felt like i just booked the ticket a few days back and poof, i'm at bkk alrd! (& now poof, and i'm back in sg -.-)

Checking in the hotel, with the bellboy beside me. hahahaha he looked so funny in that shirt. & don't you think he looked a little like ah beng? Hmmm...maybe he's the ah beng there. 

Look at my shirt, it's wet! Cos we went during the Songkran festival and we got sprayed  by random people on the way here. From our hotel we have to take a bus to the BTS(our mrt) and cos the windows in the bus are not close, the people there splashed water into the bus! hahaha it was so funny. They were all very hyped about their new year and they do crazy things you can never encounter in singapore. 

Luckily we came well-prepared! We put our hp, camera etc in a ziplock bag! haha smart right? My cousin thought of it! 

We went to Siam to meet our 2 other cousins. One of them will be staying at bkk permanently to set up his own company. Lol

They decided to go to the temple to pray but i'm not a Buddhist so...

I camwhored! hehe my cheeks look fat though. *Sigh. 

Moving on, we went to shop at Platinum mall and nope i didn't take any photos. 

Hello, i was busy shopping! Anyw there are all clothes so nothing for me to take. Then it was dinner time, so Kitson (my cousin) brought us to the roadside stall to have our dinner!

Though we finished everything, i felt that the food were just mediocre. I rather go Singapore's golden mile. The tomyum way nicer than this lorrrr.  

At night, the 4 of us squeezed onto the tuktuk and went back to Kitson's apartment to put our stuff because....we're joining in the Songkran festival!!!! There is this particular road that people celebrate their Songkran festival and yes, we are going there to have fun and get wet and dirty. It was so fun and...hmmm...cold. I felt a little disgusted after everything but well~ it was a good experience :)

We even got sprayed by water guns when we were on the tuktuk. Lol

We were literally SOAKED! we sought refuge at the 7-11!

 After the celebration, this is how i looked at the end of the day :(

After i came back from bkk, every single time i head out, my top to toe is all the stuff i bought there.
I wore the bkk sandals to work and everybody say that it's cute!
hehe i bought the exact same pair (just different colour) for my mommy too!
