30 plus fishes, all dead.

So, what do you expect to see at Bottle Tree Park on normal days? No, it's not those cute and unique bottle trees. Instead, it's children seeking some fun in guppy fishing and also adults finding joy in prawning and fishing. If you have kids at home, then this is the right place for you to go if you want to have a relaxing weekend. But don't ask for guppy fishing because the original name that they gave was "lou gang" fishing, which in my opinion, sounds awful (thus the new name i gave!).

Be expected to see kids splashing water as they chased the fishes, dead fishes floating around in the smelly water. Of course the water isn't very clean since there are many dead fishes and also er...algae inside. So bring along a set of clothes if you are bringing your niece/nephew/small cousins/children/siblings there since they are quite rough(especially boys) and are definitely unaware of how dirty the pond is. But it's worth a try and the children will definitely love it. My nephew "fished" for 3 hours yet he still refused to leave. It's only $10 with the tank and the fishing net included, and there isn't any time limit so you can stay there for as long as you want. But bear in mind that those fishes you caught won't be able to live for long because ours died on the very same night. Haha well, it's just for fun and enjoy the moment you spent with your family :)
